Completed graduate medical education in India (Delhi-AIIMS) and entire orthopaedic / Surgical training in the USA. Pioneering work in developing orthopaedic surgery as a specialty in Nepal and making their services available to a vast spectrum of the population through the establishment of B & B Hospital and Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children (HRDC), charitable institution. Trained over 34 orthopaedic surgeons under personal preceptorship. Most of these surgeons are working in Nepal in prominent leadership roles. Post graduate training in Orthopedic still continues under the FCPS umbrella. Large numbers of publication in national and international journals and chapters in international orthopaedic texts. Recipient of many awards including World of Children, Asia Pacific Star Award, World of Children Alumni award, multiple orations national and international etc.
